So.....I had a little email mixup and couldn't access my blog for a long time! I finally figured it out, so halelujah that I'm updating since October! :) Wow things have changed in a big way for us, but they are awesome changes! We sold our home in Willard and are living in St. George! It's temporary as far as we know, but we sure do love it here. (We're plan to move back North June 1) We might just be snow birds for a few years and come back here from Jan-May while it really stinks in Northern Utah.:) It's been amazing to take Gia to the park and play outside almost every single day since we moved here in January. It's crazy how much warm weather makes things awesome!:) We have had a lot of friends and family come visit on the weekends & we love it! I still have all my customers and unit members in Northern Utah so I come up a couple times a month. But we will be back there soon, for all the fun summer festivities.

Giana is so grown up now and will be 17 months this month! We can't believe how smart she is, and her adorable sense of humor. She is obsesse d with her "Raff" which is her stuffed animal giraffe, and she loves to torment Lola "lolo" our dog. Life with her is hilarious!

Dall & I have both been really expanding our businesses and loving our work. Mary Kay still rocks our world, as well as Dall's insurance and investments. It's awesome to be able to have our businesses in Northern and Southern Utah! We feel really blessed with all that we are doing, and are SO looking forward to the rest of this year with some fun trips in the works.

This year is Gia's first Halloween, and it's been great! We have done all sorts of fun things in October to celebrate, and I'm kind of sad it's over. :( It's been a busy month going to Vegas, Denver, and throwing our annual Halloween bash. This year Dallan was Jacob, and he has forbidden me to post pictures, but just know it was hilarious. We sprayed his hair black, drew a tattoo on his arm with a sharpie, he wore butt tight cutoffs, and no shirt. It was pretty awesome!

I'm getting excited for Thanksgiving and Christmas so bring on the Holidays!

MEXICO!

This year's trip to Puerto Penasco, Mexico in September was WAY different than the last 2 times we have been there. We didn't have as many friends with us, but we did stay in an awesome resort (normally we rent a beach house.) Let me just say this....no more beach houses in the future. The resort was amazing and we seriously had such a blast doing all the resort activities, playing at the pool all day, getting massages at the spa, and singing karaoke. Just thinking about the trip makes me giggle.... it was that fun. :) Everyone needs a trip to Mexico at least once a year, so get yourself to Puerto Penasco....it's about the cheapest vacation you'll ever take. :)I love these 2

Nothing like taking a 9 month break from blogging eh?! I'm not going to try to make excuses.....I'm just a little terrible at keeping up with it sometimes. But here we go again!
The past 9 months have been incredible to say the least. Giana is our little sunshine, and I love watching her grow and get more and more personality. She is the happiest little girl and our family of 3 has been having tons of fun this summer. I don't think I will try to catch up totally on the past 9 months but I will put some of my favorite photos.
I think my favorite thing we have done since November has been our vacation to Costa Rica in May. That was the funnest vacation of my life!!! We went with some great friends (no kids) for 10 days and had a crazy adventure!Now that summer is winding down, we are getting excited for our anniversary this month, a trip to Mexico and my birthday in September. My unit and I are earning our first Pink Cadillac, and Dallan is loving being a newly Independent Insurance Agent. (He doesn't work for Farm Bureau anymore) Here are some pics from the past 9 months of me being MIA in the blog world.

Our little Giana (Gia for short), is finally here, and we are absolutely LOVING her!! Being a mom is even better than I expected, and Dall Loves being a dad. We are having tons of fun, changing lot's of diapers, and definitely learning new things. :) She was born on Nov. 18, and weighed 8lbs. 2 oz., 20.5 in. long. Labor was great once I had the epidural! :) We really had a good experience with the whole birth and in the hospital. We are very thankful that everything went well and that our little girl is here and healthy!
At first we thought she looked exactly like Dallan and his side of the family....but she looks like my baby pics too. She is changing everyday, so now we just aren't sure who she looks like. All we know is that we think she is adorable and can't get enough of her! Here are a few snapshots until I get her 1 week pics back.

Wow it has been a while, but I'm sure you are all used to my terrible blogging habits by now! Yes it has been a few months, but the past few have been awesome! It's been so much fun getting ready for our little girl and having baby showers and such. Now we are counting down the days till we get to meet her! (I'm also counting down the days till I'm not lugging around this huge belly!)
I LOVE this time of year, and can't wait for the rest November and December to be with family and celebrate the Holidays! It's going to be a memorable one! :)

Dall is the Love of my life and my love of forever! I'm so thankful to be married to him and can't believe it's been 5 years! We were in Lake Powell for our anniversary on August 26th, so we are celebrating this weekend and we will see what Dall has up his sleeve for it. The past 5 years have been the best!
Sweetie, thanks for being my best friend, making me laugh, smile, and feel like a princess every day for the past 8 years since the day I met you. You are everything to me! Love you Babe, and ALWAYS will!

Goodness Gracious!!! I'm so bad at blogging in the summer! Seriously, I'm too busy having fun to stop and blog, but it's getting a little ridiculous! :) One day I will catch up on our summer vacations and stuff. Right now, we are getting excited to go to Lake Powell and finish up the summer with one last vacation. It will be our last one before we have the baby, so it's an important one! Next week is also our 5 year anniversary! I can't believe how fast it has gone by! Here are a few pics of the last little bit and my ever-growing belly! Exactly 3 months left till my original due date! Eeeek! She might be coming sooner now though!

So excited that it's July! Summer makes me all sorts of happy. Yesterday was our 20 week appointment, and the doc still says it's a girl! We are SO excited! We got the crib and now its time to start shopping for all the fun girl stuff! :)

Cherries are on right now so be sure and email me if you want some! They are to die for! YUM!

Oh and we had the best time on the cruise with my family! Pics coming soon! Hope you all have the greatest 4th of July! If you're going up to Lava Hot Springs we will see you there! :)

YUM!!

So, as a lot of you know, my darling parents have a big fruit farm in Willard. It is mostly sweet cherries and they are about to be in season in 2 weeks! And I have to say they are absolutely to die for!!
Things get a tad hectic for my parents during the season and so my sisters and I try to help as much as possible. The local fruit stands buy my parents cherries (so you have probably eaten them before:), but we let people like YOU order them from us at about $.50-$1.50 cheaper per pound than what the fruit stands sell them for. If you think you or your family would like to get some delicious cherries for cheap, let me know and I will contact you as soon as they are officially in season and being picked! My family and I will be out of town next week, so I am getting names of people who want them this week to make things easier! Feel free to email me with your info.... heatherlynmk@hotmail.com so I can give you all the juicy details when it gets closer! :)

We are having a GIRL! Our doctor is 90% sure anyway. We had our 16 week appointment today and it was so much fun! Our doctor is awesome, and she said she rarely gets it wrong at 16 weeks, so we will see! She was pretty darn sure, so I'm trusting her. Right now we couldn't be more excited about having a little girl! I know she will have Dallan wrapped around her little finger...sometimes I think she already does! ;)

Yeah! Summer is here and we have been having tons of fun lately! We went camping with friends over Memorial Day weekend and had such a blast! (pics to come soon) We have been working alot on getting our back and front yard done, and just had a way fun baby shower for Crystal! One of the best parts is that I'm finally not sick anymore! Yeah! The morning sickness is almost all the way gone and I can enjoy life a lot more. I love summer!

We go in for our 16 week appointment on Tuesday to find out what are having! I can't wait to know! Dallan thinks its a girl, but I have no idea. What do YOU think it is? Here's a look at my "pudge". My belly is just looking fat at the moment...I have to say I don't really like this awkward stage. I'm sure people look at me and think its a food baby. :)

Last week I was in Dallas for 5 days for Mary Kay New Sales Director Week! It was my first time traveling by myself (I was a bit nervous to go), but I had the BEST time!! I met the most awesome women and got to do way fun things that only Sales Directors get to do. Probably my favorite part was going in Mary Kay Ash's office and sitting at her desk...just the way she left it. Also, meeting the Vice Presidents of the company. (first picture) And trying on all of the big huge diamond rings that we can earn. I say it all the time, but I have to say it again.....I LOVE MY JOB!

Oh and by the way.....I'm pregnant! Due November 17th, and very excited! Dallan will be the best dad ever. More to come when we find out what we are having!

I'm FINALLY posting our awesome trip to Cancun/Puerto Morelos that we took in February! We went with most of Dall's family and we had the best time! We stayed in a darling house in Puerto Morelos (20 min from Cancun), and went on new adventures everyday. We saw one of the 7 wonders of the world (Chichenitza), some crazy animals, and went swimming through underground caves (unfortunately no pics of that). Every night we found a new yummy place in town to eat and went to our fav. icecream spot. Dall and I were so sad to leave....we were depressed for weeks after we got home! :) We love you Mexico....hope to see you again soon.

Yeah! Yeah! I have to say I recently made a purchase that has me extremely excited! Ya know how sometimes when you plan something pretty far away, but it makes you happy just knowing it is coming up? Yes, this is how I feel whenever I think of the Keith Urban tickets that my sister just got for us. What a fantastic purchase, I tell you what ! September 9th can't come soon enough!

I LOVE Valentines Day so much!! (no pun intended :) Always have and always will! But this Valentines was one of the best ever. Dall surprised me with a weekend away in St. George so we could go to the Home Show and relax. (I have wanted to go to the home show there the past couple of years) We had such a blast going to a lot of the homes, relaxing by the pool, and eating out at fun restaurants. On Valentines Day I woke up and Dall had laid out all my presents...clothes, money for shopping and such. What a sweetheart!! We spent all day just playing and then went to dinner at an awesome Thai place and of course saw a chick flick. It was so fun to spend the whole day just us! I love my sweetheart!

At the end of January I went to Leadership Conference in Pheonix Arizona. It's every year, but this was my first time going as a Sales Director. I had such a blast with 3 of my director friends and it was so nice and warm there! I love my job, and the fact that the trainings I go to are basically like parties! There is awesome food, entertainment and of course presents. They spoil us and it's awesome!

You thought I was lost....but here I am! Geez! Can we say slacker!!! I have been so horrible at updating my blog since like....Thanksgiving as you can all see! I don't blame you if you have given up on me....but I am back and going to be better! I have no excuse.

So, the holidays were amazing and January has been great so far! I will have to post some pics from the last couple of months soon! I am off to Pheonix for Leadership Conference (Mary Kay Sales Director Conference) tomorrow, so as soon as I get back I will update you on our lives!

Thanksgiving Week

So maybe I'm jumping the gun with the Christmas background, but I have been feeling the Christmas spirit lately! I can't wait to decorate! I love the week of Thanksgiving! It's just so fun and relaxing. This year we are eating dinner with my family at our house! I'm way excited to have everyone over and join in the cooking festivities for once. I'm so thankful for my family and friends!

Me and my sis, Stacey, look forward to the day after Thanksgiving all year. We just love getting up at 5:00 am and running around to all the sales. We have so much fun together.....we are dorks and that's the best part.

Also we will be getting our Christmas tree and decorating it over the weekend. I just love that! Our Christmas lights are getting put up on our house today too! Yeah! Dallan has big plans this weekend to get started on finishing the theater room in our basement. By Monday night a lot of it will be done! We are hoping to have it fully finished by Christmas. I love this time of year!

Can I say that I love Halloween? It sure was a fun one this year. Since we had some conflicts on Halloween, we actually had our Halloween party on November 1st. This is the first time we have had a Halloween party at our house with all our friends, and it turned out sooo fun! We played the donut game, the name game, (our group's personal favorite), ate, and had an amazing time. Everyone's costumes were awesome/hilarious, and I don't think I stopped laughing once all night. I don't know what we did to deserve our group of friends, but I love them all so much its unhealthy! :)

For the past couple of weeks, I have just been spending too much time having fun and have forgotten to post what's been going on! Some really awesome/fun things have been happening so I will have to catch you up. First of all I FINISHED EARNING MY FIRST FREE MARY KAY CAR! Yes that is right. I will be driving a brand new car, that I do not pay the car payment, tax, title or license or insurance for. Wow it's going to be fabulous. I officially finished on Sept. 24th and the company has now ordered my car to be made for me. I will pick it up in December! Yeah! I'm pretty sure I work for the best company in the world. :)

Oh, P.S. I know you are all wondering what car I got......I took the Pontiac G6 (charcoal), but the Cadillac is almost half way done and will be done in November. That means come February I will be rockin that sexy Cadillac CTS and you know you will want a ride! :)

Other fun thing. Dallan is one of the football coaches at Ogden high school and so is Crystal's husband Tim. So therefore, Crystal and I have been having girls' nights out every friday if its an away game, or going to the game if it's home. Last week we went to the game and then out to dinner with our husbands, got icecream and watched a movie at Crystal and Tims. I love hanging out with Crystal every weekend! :)

Ok, Last but not least, my birthday was Monday and I totally got spoiled. I swear we started celebrating last Saturday, and I still don't feel like the celebration has stopped. Everyone is too good to me. Dall's partents took us to the Cheesecake factory for my b-day dinner on Saturday, and it was so much fun. I love them like they are my real parents. Sunday was the party at my family's, which was such a blast. I love them so much! Monday, I went to lunch with Dall and then he sent me on a shopping spree! (Thanks sweetie!) That night we went to the movie Eagle Eye (it's good) with my family. It was such an amazing birthday! Thank you everyone for all of the birthday wishes and the presents! I feel so lucky!

1. I have a bad habit of wanting to do EVERYTHING. I love so many things, it's just hard to choose! I love decorating, exercising, designing, playing the piano, scrapbooking, reading, organizing, working, shopping, hanging out with friends and family, and so much more. I've come to the realization that I can't fit everything in to one day or even one week. I have to just take one thing at a time, but it's hard for me cause it's all so fun!

2. I absolutely love getting to know people. I love hearing about other people's lives and being a part of theirs. I love catching up with people that I haven't seen forever and remembering fun things we did together. I like to stay in touch with people I have known forever, but I love meeting new people too. Luckily I get to do that daily and weekly in my career.

3. I love music, and I want to learn how to play the guitar. Dallan has taught me a little bit a while ago, but I want to get good at it. Dall is really good and we jam out together sometimes....me on the piano and him on the guitar. We both want to get better at playing each other's instrument...me the guitar and him the piano.

4. Traveling is one of my passions. I want to go absolutely everywhere! Luckily, Dallan shares that with me. We usually try to vacation every 3-6 months. Number one on my list is Italy (Rome especially, but pretty much the entire country). I am earning a free trip for us to go there next September. Next on the list would be all of Europe as well as South America (Peru, Brazil, Argentina....)

5. I have the biggest sweet tooth! Oh gosh I could eat treats all day long. It's not a good thing! It's totally a family thing cause my whole family is like that too. My grandma used to keep swedish fish in her dresser drawers in her bedroom, if that tells ya anything. Cookies and cakes are my favorites. Yum.

6. I love getting up early in the morning, but I love staying up late! If it was possible to not sleep, I wouldn't! I have been sacrificing my late nights and getting up at 5 am and I love it so much. I get so much more done, and have more time for fun stuff. It's amazing how much you can get done by 8:00 am!

End of August

Ok, so we did so many fun things in August, and unfortunately I didn't capture all of them with my camera. We went to some really fun family reunions, group dates with friends, our anniversary, and going to the cabin last weekend on Labor day. I'm sad that August is over, but it was an amazing month, and now I guess its fall! I love September though because of the weather, and of course because of my birthday! Here are the few pics (in random order) I have taken over the past few weeks.

Lola has been needing a friend, so we are trying out Chloe for a few weeks. So far, she is such a sweetheart, and perfectly behaved. Dall and I are already getting attached to her, so it might be a done deal.

Geez I have really been slacking in the blog area, but we have been so busy lately! I'm pretty sure that everyone else is in the same boat though so you all know the story. We are back from Texas, and we had a fabulous time! I'm thankful everyday to work for such a great company that cares about women. It's amazing. So....we did go see the Dark Knight on Saturday and it was very entertaining/scary/disturbing all in one. Pretty awesome to say the least! And....yesterday was Dallan's birthday! He is 26 now! Officially over the hill! ;) I just have to celebrate him on his birthday! He is the best husband and friend that I could ever imagine! He is so thoughtful, patient, and so fun to be with. He is very very talented and SMART! He is a hard worker, but more importantly, a SMART worker. He is the person that I want to spend forever with, and I'm so glad he is mine! Happy Birthday sweetie!

We are off to Dallas on Monday for a week of Mary Kay goodness. We are so pumped! Can't wait to go and celebrate the last year, and get trained, fed yummy food and given lots of great presents! We will be back on the 20th just in time for Dallan's 26th Birthday!

I just have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse...maybe more than I should have even. I highly recommend those books....but they do come with a warning that you might want to start them when you don't have a lot of other things going on cause you will read them like the dickens. I felt like I totally slacked on everything I was supposed to be doing so that I could keep reading, and stayed up WAY too late every night. So, you should definitely read them if you haven't yet. Oh yeah...and I think I'm in love with Edward. He's hot! Can I get an Amen?

Weekends are fun!

We went to Boondocks (in Draper) last weekend with my family and had so much fun! They have tons of fun stuff there including bumper boats. Just a little warning to all who think they will not get wet while riding them....you are very mistaken! I was DRENCHED after riding them. I probably didn't get fully dry till about midnight! ;) It was tons of fun though, and so fun to be with the whole fam!

I just have give a shout out to my husband Dallan. He is the best friend, and spouse that I could ever ask for. He does soo much for me and works so hard for us and for what we want out of life. I love that he thinks so BIG! He doesn't SETTLE like most people. He never thinks small and doubts what we can do. He is so wonderful to me and I love him like crazy! Love you babe!
On July 14th we are leaving for Dallas Texas to go to the annual Mary Kay seminar. It is a week long hoorah full of trainings, awards, awesome food, and FUN! Dall as going with me this year, and I'm so grateful because not everyone's husbands always come. He's so amazing to support me and believe in me no matter what I'm doing. I can't wait for our week in Dallas, especially because we get to spend it with our favorite friends Lance and Arianne. Totally stoked, and once again, so happy that Dallan is my husband!

Can I just say that I love Mexico? The sun, the beach, the gas prices....$2.50 a gallon. Everything was fabulous, and so much fun! It's kind of sad to be back home really. I'm missing the friends that we went with...they were hilarious! I really want to get a house there and stay from Jan-April. Who's with me? I think that would be the best. Anyway....the boys' mustaches were hot, and the speedos were even hotter. Here are some pics to sum up the trip.

There is nothing to do at work today except for update my blog. I love getting paid to play on the internet. So, I died my hair all brown. I haven't done that in like 5 years. But I was tired of being a fake....

We leave for Mexico tomorrow and I couldn't be more excited. We are going down with 4 other couples to have some fun in the sun. Puerto Penasco is our vacation spot...same one we went to last year with our friends, but had 13 people instead of 10. 3 lamo's dropped out this year because of a ridiculous excuses like having to work and such. We are staying in the same house as last year, and are prepared to have just as much fun. We are right on the beach, and just a few minutes from town. I have a feeling that this year might me a little more memorable considering all the guys are calling the trip "Mustache Mexico" and are all trying their best to grow a mean moostache. I think that Speedos will also be involved. What a killer combination. Who wouldn't want to partake of the mustache/speedo goodness.

One last thing.... if you haven't seen KungFu Panda.... get yourself dolled up and get to a freakin movie theater. It is HILARIOUS! Jack Black...need I say more. I seriously loved everything about that movie....and it convinces me more and more that cartoon/disney movies are totally for adults, but with a story that kids can follow. Go see it this weekend....I'm serious!

Goats = Trouble

Ok, to all of you out there that are saying why in the H did you get goats Heather, all I have to say is...Dallan is the brains behind such a ridiculous idea. Seriously, they are cute. I will give them that. They are pigme goats, so they're small and seemingly harmless...but they are capable of sooo many things. First of all, they can jump like a nobody's business. They like to head butt the downstairs windows, hoping to get in the basement. Somehow they always find a way to get on our deck and poop everywhere. Hmmm what more can I tell you about the little darlings. They were way scared of us at first, but now they are not quite scared enough of us. I will have to put some pics up of them...Pearl is white, and Fiona is black. Usually, they wake us up in the morning because they are baaahhhing outside our window....so we decided it would be best to get rid of them before we leave for Mexico on Saturday. We didn't want the neighbors to hate us while we were gone, so we started making plans to sell them. I think they are smarter than we think because literally, that exact day, they started to be the best goats known to man. They haven't made a peep since. They are perfect angels. Wow. They know that Dallan is too much of a softie to give away perfectly behaved goats. So...we continue to have Robinson Farm happening in our backyard.

A few weekends ago, we went to Moab with a bunch of friends to go biking. We thought we were way tougher than we actually are, and ended up going on an 18 mile ride that was SO hard. We all had so many bruises and scrapes, but it was pretty fun. Now I'm feeling like I am kind of invincible, so I think I will run a half marathon next, and work up to a marathon. Who knows...but I feel like if I lived through that, I can do anything! ;) It was quite the adventure!

The day before we left for Moab, Dall accidentally shaved a strip of his hair super short, so we shaved the rest and left a mohawk. We thought is would be appropriate for the biking trip. Then, when we were there, he felt it was his duty to complete the look and be as white trash as possible, with a wife beater and short shorts. So don't worry people, he was doing this on purpose. Every time I looked at him on the trip, I had to laugh! He looked hilarious!

Baby Shower

We had a baby shower for Jess at my house on Saturday and it was so much fun! Jess is so cute with her basketball belly! She is having a little girl and maybe naming her Lyla! How cute! It was so fun to have everyone under one roof again. ;) Crystal, Erin, Kate, Chelsea and Megan all came. I had a blast! Erin especially rocked with her poopy diaper game....Kate is trying to figure out which candy bar is in her diaper in one of the pictures(in case you were wondering). The only conclusion I've come to is that more of us need to have babies so we can see each other more often! ;)

Tomorrow is a fun day for us because it is the day that we met....7 years ago! We also got engaged on that very same day (how cute) 4 years ago! Dall and I can't believe it has been that long! Both of us and our families have changed so much since we met! I was only 16, and Dall was 18! We were just kids! The weirdest thing is that Dallan's little brother Brad was only 5 years old back then, and now he is almost 13! Crazy, but so fun! So, happy engagement/meeting anniversary to us! We are going to do something fun to celebrate tomorrow!
